Assistant Manager - Taxation

• 1. Ensure compliance with Direct and Indirect Tax laws, including Income Tax, GST, TDS/TCS and other applicable regulations.
• 2. Preparation and filing of GST returns, Income Tax returns and other statutory tax filings within prescribed timelines.
• 3. Manage TDS compliance, including deduction, deposit, reconciliation and filing of returns.
• 4. Handle tax assessments, audits, notices, scrutiny proceedings and correspondence with tax authorities.
• 5. Monitor changes in tax laws and advise management on their implications.
• 6. Review accounting transactions from a taxation perspective and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• 7. Assist in tax planning and optimization initiatives while ensuring statutory compliance.
• 8. Prepare tax reconciliations and support statutory, internal and CAG audits.
• 9. Coordinate with external consultants, auditors and regulatory authorities on taxation matters.
• 10. Maintain tax records, documentation and MIS reports related to taxation.
• 11. Support implementation of taxation-related processes and controls in ERP systems.
• 12. Perform any other duties assigned from time to time relating to Finance and Taxation functions.
