Assistant Manager - SAP SD

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day SAP SD, WM, and Logistics Execution operations, including production support, incident resolution, service requests, problem management, and enhancements.
• Lead functional ownership of sales orders, deliveries, billing, pricing, output management, credit management, returns, batch management, intercompany sales, consignment, and third-party order processes.
• Support warehouse inbound, outbound, internal movement, inventory, physical inventory, picking, put-away, transfer order, storage type, and warehouse monitoring processes.
• Drive SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, transformation, cutover, testing, data migration, and hypercare activities across plants, depots, warehouses, CFA locations, and subsidiaries.
• Partner with commercial, distribution, supply chain, warehouse, taxation, finance, and technology teams to standardize processes, resolve root causes, and deliver digital logistics improvements.

Skills Required:

• 10 - 17 years of total SAP experience, including substantial hands-on SAP SD consulting experience and exposure to full-cycle implementation, rollout, and support engagements.
• Deep functional expertise in SAP SD, SAP WM, and SAP Logistics Execution, with strong Order-to-Cash process knowledge.
• Hands-on experience supporting SAP S/4HANA environments, including sales, delivery, billing, pricing, credit, returns, batch, and customer master processes.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and integration across SAP SD, WM, MM, and FI.
• Experience with functional specifications, integration testing, user acceptance testing, data migration, cutover planning, production support, and root cause analysis.

Good to Have:

• SAP implementation experience and exposure to SAP S/4HANA transformation, rollout, or upgrade programs.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline; MBA, PGDBM, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
