About this role
Position : Assistant Manager – SAP Implementation and System
Department : Information Technology (IT)
Reporting to : Chief Operating Officer
Location : Baramati
State : Maharashtra
Description Hindustan Feeds is a professionally managed agro-based company with manufacturing units located at Baramati, Satara, and Shrirampur. The company is a market leader in the cattle feed industry with a rapidly growing business across Maharashtra.
Qualification & ExperienceEducational Qualification · Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. · MBA/MCA will be an added advantage. · SAP Certification in relevant module(s) is preferred.
Experience · 8–10 years of relevant experience in SAP implementation, support, or ERP project management. · Experience in manufacturing industry is preferred. · Hands-on involvement in at least one complete SAP implementation or SAP S/4HANA migration project. · Experience in cross-functional SAP integration. ·
Key ResponsibilitiesSAP Implementation & Project Management
- Coordinate end-to-end SAP implementation projects across various business functions.
- Participate in business requirement gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design.
- Liaise with SAP implementation partners, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor project timelines, deliverables, budgets, and implementation milestones.
- Ensure successful Go-Live planning, execution, and post-implementation support.
- Support SAP rollout for new plants, offices, and business units.
Business Process Improvement
- Study existing business processes and recommend SAP-based solutions.
- Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation.
- Ensure SAP solutions align with organizational objectives and statutory requirements.
- Standardize business processes across departments.
SAP System Administration & Support
- Coordinate SAP system configuration and master data management.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high system availability.
- Manage user access, authorization, and role assignments in coordination with IT security.
- Resolve functional issues by coordinating with SAP consultants.
- Maintain SAP documentation, SOPs, and process manuals.
User Training & Change Management
- Conduct SAP user training sessions.
- Develop user manuals, quick reference guides, and training materials.
- Assist departments during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Promote user adoption through continuous support and awareness programs.
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with external SAP consultants, implementation partners, and software vendors.
- Review deliverables and ensure compliance with agreed service levels.
- Track open issues and ensure timely resolution.
Data Management & Reporting
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of SAP master data.
- Generate management reports and dashboards.
- Support MIS reporting and data analysis.
- Assist in report customization as per business requirements.
Compliance & Information Security
- Ensure SAP processes comply with company policies, audit requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Support internal and external audits related to SAP systems.
- Maintain proper system documentation and change records.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify enhancement opportunities within SAP modules.
- Recommend best practices for improving operational efficiency.
- Stay updated with emerging SAP technologies and digital solutions.
