Assistant Manager-Sales

Position Overview

• Role Title: Assistant Manager-Sales Solar Modules (C&I Segment)
• Job Location: Chandigarh/ Ludhiana
• Target Market: Punjab and selected regions of Haryana
• Primary Objective: Drive the sales of solar modules by targeting large-scale developers executing C&I projects, PM Suryaghar EPCs, PM kusum EPCs, Government contractors .

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

• C&I Client Acquisition: Identify, pitch to, and close module sales deals with Developers & EPC players.
• EPC & Developer Tie-ups: Build strategic alliances with solar EPC contractors who actively execute turnkey rooftop and open-access projects for C&I clients in the region.
• Revenue & Volume Targets: Meet annual and quarterly MW-scale sales and revenue targets for solar modules.
• Deal Structuring & Negotiation: Manage long sales cycles, handle technical discussions, and negotiate high-value corporate contracts.
• Market Intelligence: Track industrial policies, net-metering regulations, and open-access policies in Punjab and Haryana to identify market opportunities early.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

• Experience: 26 years of corporate B2B sales experience, with at least 2+ years specifically selling solar modules or turnkey solar solutions to the C&I sector.
• Educational Background: Graduate must.
• Network: Existing relationships with industrial buyers, infrastructure managers, or regional solar EPC players in Punjab and Haryana.
• Competencies: Deep understanding of solar module technologies, corporate energy purchasing behaviors, and local state discom regulations. Strong presentation skills and readiness to travel extensively across industrial clusters (e.g., Ludhiana, Baddi borders, Ambala, Jalandhar).
