Assistant Manager - Sales

We are hiring for Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager - Sales for Odisha Bhubaneshwar, Angul, Jharsuguda Odisha Location.

Position: Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager - Sales
Product Line: Ball Valves, Butterfly Valves, Knife Gate Valves & Pneumatic actuators.
Territory: East India Region
Reporting To: Sales Head
Job Purpose
To drive sales growth, market development, and customer relationship management for industrial
valves across the East India region. The role involves identifying business opportunities, generating
enquiries, providing techno-commercial support, securing orders, and expanding market share in
key industries such as Steel, Power, Mining, Cement, Chemicals, Water Treatment, Pulp & Paper,
EPC segments and identify/develop dealers network within the region.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key
customers, and partners to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new
customers, market segments, and geographic regions.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Develop accurate sales forecasts and provide regular
reporting on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
Product Knowledge and Training:  Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and
competitive landscape. Provide training and support to the sales team as needed.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product
development, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Diploma or BE/B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 8-10 years relevant
experience in Industrial Engineering Project/ OEM Sales in Structured Organisation.
Must have multiple products exposure.
Should have dealt with EPC and Engineering consultants

Skills Required
Strong knowledge of Ball, Butterfly, Knife Gate Valves and Pneumatic actuators and controls
accessories.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
Ability to read technical specifications and handle techno-commercial discussions.
Willingness to travel extensively across East India.
Technical Competencies
Strong knowledge of Ball Valves, Butterfly Valves, and Knife Gate Valves.
Understanding of valve standards such as API, ASME, ANSI, IS, BS, DIN, and MSS.
Knowledge of valve applications in process industries.
Ability to interpret P&IDs, datasheets, specifications, and tender documents.
