About this role
Role & responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in EPC, infrastructure, industrial and project-based segments.
- Generate leads through market mapping, customer visits, industry references, networking and project tracking.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with EPC companies, consultants, contractors, OEMs, project owners and key accounts.
- Identify upcoming projects at the early stage and influence specifications/vendor approvals wherever applicable.
- Understand customer technical and commercial requirements and coordinate with engineering/estimation teams for suitable solutions.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, techno-commercial proposals, BOQs and tender submissions.
- Conduct customer presentations, product/solution demonstrations and commercial negotiations.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation and enquiry to negotiation, order closure and handover to project execution.
- Maintain an updated sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts and MIS reports.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Technology / Business Administration; MBA in Sales & Marketing will be an advantage.
- 5to10 years of experience in B2B sales, project sales, EPC sales, industrial sales or engineering solutions.
- Experience working with EPC contractors, consultants, infrastructure companies, OEMs or industrial customers preferred.
- Strong understanding of the project sales cycle and techno-commercial negotiations.
- Proven track record of achieving sales/revenue targets.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and CRM/ERP systems.
