Assistant Manager Research and Development

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Develop new food products by conducting research on ingredients, processes, and packaging materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design prototypes and test new product concepts.
• Conduct sensory evaluation of new products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Analyze data from testing results to optimize product formulations and improve taste, texture, and appearance.

Job Requirements :

• 7-15 years of experience in food technology or related field (e.g., food processing).
• Strong understanding of food science principles, including microbiology, chemistry, and nutrition.
• Experience working in the food industry or a similar sector (e.g., pharmaceuticals).
• Proficiency in using software such as Food Inc. or Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College's research tools.
