Assistant Manager - Quick Commerce

We are looking for an Assistant Manager Quick Commerce to manage and grow the company's business across leading Quick Commerce platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing platforms such as Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket, or similar Quick Commerce channels, along with strong Distributor Management experience.

The role will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key platform relationships, improving assortment and availability, executing Joint Business Plans (JBPs), and ensuring seamless distributor and supply-chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end business operations for assigned Quick Commerce platforms and key accounts.
• Drive business growth across platforms such as Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket, and other Quick Commerce channels.
• Develop and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with platform partners to achieve sales, distribution, visibility, and profitability objectives.
• Drive revenue growth through assortment expansion, promotional planning, pricing, and effective execution of marketing initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Category Managers, Account Managers, and key stakeholders across Quick Commerce platforms.
• Manage and coordinate with distributors to ensure efficient order fulfilment, inventory management, and service levels.
• Monitor stock availability and work closely with Supply Chain teams to minimize stock-outs and improve fill rates.
• Analyze sales performance, customer trends, pricing, competition, assortment, and promotional effectiveness to identify growth opportunities.
• Lead commercial discussions and negotiations related to promotions, trade investments, visibility, and business development initiatives.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Demand Planning, and other cross-functional teams for seamless execution.
• Prepare periodic business reviews, sales forecasts, MIS reports, and performance dashboards with actionable insights.
• Track platform-wise KPIs, sales targets, inventory, fill rates, promotions, and profitability.
• Proactively identify and resolve operational issues impacting sales, availability, or customer experience.
• Ensure timely execution of business plans and maintain high service levels across assigned accounts.

Desired Candidate Profile

• MBA or Graduate in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in Key Account Management, Quick Commerce, Modern Trade, or FMCG.
• Mandatory: Hands-on experience managing Quick Commerce platforms such as Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket, or similar platforms.
• Mandatory: Strong experience in Distributor Management and channel operations.
• Experience in FMCG / Food & Beverages will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of Quick Commerce business models, platform operations, promotions, assortment, and visibility.
• Strong negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced business environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of sales analytics, DMS, and MIS tools will be an added advantage.

Mandatory Requirements

Candidates without hands-on Quick Commerce experience will not be considered.

The candidate must have:

1. Relevant experience managing Quick Commerce platforms such as Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket, etc.
2. Strong Distributor Management and channel operations experience.
3. Relevant experience in FMCG / Food & Beverages / Modern Trade will be preferred.
