Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Quality with strong hands-on experience in Power Transformer Quality. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality compliance across manufacturing, inspection, testing and final dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage quality assurance and quality control activities for Power Transformer manufacturing.
• Conduct and monitor incoming, in-process and final inspection.
• Ensure compliance with QAP, ITP, customer specifications and IS/IEC standards.
• Handle Power Transformer inspection and testing activities.
• Coordinate customer inspections and third-party inspections (TPI).
• Identify quality issues and implement RCA, CAPA, NCR and 8D.
• Monitor quality of core, winding, insulation, tank, assembly and transformer accessories.
• Coordinate with Production, Design, Testing and other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test reports and quality documentation.
• Drive reduction in rejection, rework and customer complaints.
• Support ISO and customer audits and ensure compliance with the Quality Management System.
• Lead and guide the Quality team.

Candidate Profile:

• 10–12 years of relevant experience specifically in Power Transformer Quality.
• Strong knowledge of Power Transformer manufacturing, inspection and testing.
• Experience in QAP, ITP, NCR, CAPA, RCA and customer/TPI inspection.
• Knowledge of relevant IS/IEC Transformer Standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and team-management skills.
• Candidates from Power Transformer / Transformer Manufacturing companies will be preferred.
