Assistant Manager : Quality Assurance || TATA Star Bazaar

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure quality control of staples, grocery items, fruits & vegetables, dairy products, bakery products, snacks, beverages, frozen foods, canned foods, packaged foods, and other FMCG products at source.
  
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of product quality.
  
• Develop and implement effective quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve supply chain efficiency.
  
• Analyze data from various sources (e.g., sensory evaluation) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 7-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance or related field (QC).
  
• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture (B.Sc), Food Technology (B.Tech), or equivalent qualification.
  
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (FSSAI) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  
• Proficiency in auditing, controlling, inspection, quality control, quality management, regulatory affairs.
