Assistant Manager Purchase & Stores

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for administering and executing all the purchase activities.

Preferred candidate profile

* Ensure availability of RM/Ingredients at appropriate level in the stores.

* Monitor delivery timings of farming products suppliers e.g. vegetables, eggs, etc on daily

basis to ensure the fresh items delivery

* Checking & confirming the expiry date/BBD of the items while delivery to the restaurant

* Placing order to the vendor with suffiest lead time and with proper details to buy the right

product

* Negotiation skill with good communication in English.

* Monitoring stocks of all required items in restaurant to optimization of inventory specially

for perishable items

* Proper upkeepment of purchase and stores related documents e.g. Invoices, Challan etc

* Making entries in the software for the vendor supplied items on daily basis and hand over

it to unit accounts

* Updating issue records in the software and spread sheet as required for management

monitoring

* Inventory checking and submitting monthly physical inventory reports to the management

* Updating cost saving sheet for the compilation of the cost saving project data

* Payment related data to verify to share with accounts with confirmation of the month-wise

invoices booking

* Vendor payment cycle to update with proper credit period and sharing while payment data

for approval
