- The role is responsible for cloud services software development involving development, production rollouts and lifecycle management.
Minimum Qualifications Experience
- Graduation in Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- 4 Years experience in software development
- Proficiency with Go (Golang)
- Experience with writing Kubernetes operators/controllers
- Experience with cloud-native observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Cortex, VictoriaMetrics
- Experience with IAM solutions through tools like Keycloak
Other Knowledge Skills
- Experience with OTEL will be preferred
- Experience with kubernetes-sigs/cluster-api will be preferred
- Experience with DBs or Caching Services or Messaging Queues or Serverless Services will be preferred
- Experience with cloud-native eBPF tools will be preferred.
- Basic Proficiency with Rust and Python.
- Experience with AI tooling and a genuine enthusiasm for applying it to complex problems
- Enthusiasm to work closely with the Product team and customers to launch new features
- Strong communication skills, proficiency in English, ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and seek help proactively when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Own features end-to-end. From design through implementation, rollout, and iteration in close partnership with Product and our Experience (front-end) team.
- Navigate ambiguous problems and find a clear path forward. You take initiative rather than waiting for complete specs.
- Extend Kubernetes using CRDs and Operators/Controller with industry standard API Contracts, scalability and observability
- Work closely with Vayu Cloud's Kubernetes-as-a-service
- Work closely with Vayu Cloud's Devops Suite involving Container Registry, CICD Services, Secret Manager, KMS, Functions.
- Work closely with Cloud Networking, Storage and virtualization layer like Openstack
