Assistant Manager - Procurement

Job Summary

Position: Asst Manager - Procurement. Work Location: Ahmednagar.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for procurement and planning of material to support the production as per schedule.
• Planning of material as per M1 and M2 schedule.
• Responsible for daily receipt (OTIF-On Time delivery In Full) of material/subassemblies as per plan, dealing with vendors for supply and availability of machine, tools, RM, components as per plan to support monthly production.
• Responsible for DWM related activities, co-ordination with Shop floor supervisor and vendor.
• To take up Kaizen projects and ensure continuous improvements.
• Responsible for establishing key initiatives at Vendor-end i. e 5S, Lean etc.
• Improve VQR/SQIP Preparedness for QMS, EMS and OHSAS.
• Awareness about SAP, knowledge on electrical products will be added advantage

Qualifications

• Educational Qualification (Either Diploma with 2-7 year s experience).
• Specialization: Mechanical / Supply chain, SAP MM.
