Assistant Manager Procurement (Non Trade Purchase)

Role - Sr. Executive / Assistant Manager Non-Trade Procurement

Responsibilities -

• Manage end-to-end Non-Trade procurement for retail stores, warehouses, corporate office and other locations.
• Source and develop vendors for various Non-Trade categories.
• Procure materials such as:
• Store consumables
• Housekeeping & cleaning materials
• Stationery & office supplies
• Packaging materials
• Uniforms & employee-related items
• Safety materials
• Facility & maintenance consumables
• Electrical / plumbing consumables
• Store fixtures and operational equipment
• IT / non-merchandise requirements
• Promotional / branding materials
• Other store and warehouse operational requirements
• Obtain quotations and prepare comparative statements (CST).
• Negotiate pricing, credit terms, delivery timelines, MOQ and other commercial conditions.
• Create and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per approval matrix.
• Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery across stores and warehouses.
• Monitor open POs, pending deliveries and back orders.
• Coordinate with Finance for vendor documentation, invoice issues and payment-related concerns.
• Develop alternate vendors and ensure continuity of supply.
• Maintain vendor database, rate contracts and price records.
• Track market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support annual rate contracts and bulk procurement negotiations.
• Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, service and delivery.
• Resolve vendor-related issues including quality, quantity, pricing and delivery discrepancies.
• Ensure procurement is carried out in line with company policies, budgets and approval processes.
• Prepare regular Procurement MIS, spend analysis and savings reports.
