Assistant Manager Procurement | Electronics Commodity Buyer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Source electronic components from global suppliers through strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, and supplier management.
  
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products at competitive prices.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify procurement needs, develop specifications, and manage inventory levels.
  
• Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, new technologies, and potential suppliers.
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards throughout the procurement process.

• We are looking for candidates with a strong combination of technical electronics knowledge and commercial procurement experience. Candidates currently working in EMS, medical devices, electronics manufacturing, automotive electronics, industrial electronics or similar manufacturing environments will be preferred.
  
• The ideal candidate should have independently handled electronic component sourcing, supplier negotiations, alternate-source development, cost reduction and shortage management.
