Assistant Manager - Plant HR

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day plant HR operations, attendance, shift-wise manpower deployment and absenteeism.
• Handle Industrial Relations (IR), Employee Relations (ER), worker grievances, disciplinary matters and labour disputes.
• Manage contract labour, labour contractors, manpower availability, attendance and wage verification.
• Ensure statutory compliance related to labour laws, PF, ESI, wages and contract labour.
• Handle labour liaisoning with the Labour Department and other relevant government authorities.
• Coordinate with Production, Packing, Stores and Dispatch & Others for manpower requirements.
• Oversee employee welfare, plant administration, safety induction and workforce discipline.
• Prepare HR MIS, manpower reports and contractor compliance records.

Qualification & Experience

• MBA / PGDM in HR or relevant qualification.
• 58 years of experience in Plant HR, IR, ER and contract labour management.
• Manufacturing, cattle feed, feed mill or agro-processing experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance, negotiation and grievance handling.
