Assistant Manager - Placements

World University of Design (WUD) is India's first university dedicated exclusively to education in the creative domain, offering programmes across Design, Architecture, Fashion, Communication, Visual Arts, Performing Arts and Business.

We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Placements to support our growing Graduate Success & Industry Engagement function. This is an operations-heavy and outreach-driven role suited to a highly organised, proactive person who enjoys working with people and getting things done.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage placement documentation, databases, trackers, reports and student records.
• Coordinate interviews, recruitment drives, student registrations and recruiter requirements.
• Research and identify new companies and potential recruiters.
• Drive aggressive email, phone and LinkedIn outreach to HR teams, recruiters, founders and industry professionals.
• Follow up consistently and convert outreach into meetings, opportunities and recruitment engagements.
• Coordinate with internal schools, students, faculty and recruiters throughout the placement process.
• Support internships, graduation projects, industry engagements and career events.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach, conversations, interviews and offers.

Who can apply

• Freshers and candidates with 0–2 years of experience are welcome.
• Strong communication, follow-up and organisational skills.
• Comfortable making calls, sending large volumes of outreach and speaking with senior professionals.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation.
• Experience in placements, recruitment, operations or design/creative industries is a plus.
• Most importantly: high-energy, persistent and willing to chase opportunities.

Location: Sonipat, Delhi-NCR

• Important: Candidates must be based in Sonipat/Delhi-NCR. This is an on-campus role and interviews will be in-person.
