About this role
Role & responsibilities
Coordinate import and export shipments from booking through final delivery.
Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, customs department, brokers, and customers.
Track shipment status and coordinate customs clearance and shipping documentation.
Support the operations team and help allocate daily workloads.
Resolve shipment delays, documentation issues, and customer escalations.
Monitor freight rates, transit times, and delivery commitments.
Review invoices, operational reports, and shipment records.
Follow company procedures and applicable customs and trade requirements.
Preferred candidate profile
Good knowledge of import and export processes, air and sea freight, and shipping documentation.
Experience coordinating with shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, transporters, and customers.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer-service skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with freight or logistics software.
Able to manage multiple shipments, meet deadlines, and handle operational issues efficiently.
