Position: Assistant Manager / Manager – Planning

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager / Manager – Planning with strong expertise in Primavera P6 for our MMIPD Project at Surat, Gujarat. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, updating, and coordination with project/site teams to ensure timely completion of project milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, develop and maintain the Detailed Project Schedule using Primavera P6.
• Develop Baseline Programme, Master Schedule, Recovery Programme and Catch-up Plans.
• Prepare detailed WBS, activity sequencing, logic, relationships and resource loading.
• Monitor actual project progress against the approved baseline schedule.
• Update Primavera schedules based on actual site progress and identified schedule variances.
• Prepare Daily, Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports and planning MIS.
• Track project milestones, critical path and near-critical activities.
• Identify delays, analyze their impact and prepare suitable mitigation/recovery plans.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Construction, Engineering, Procurement, Billing and other departments for timely execution.
• Prepare 2-week / 3-week / monthly look-ahead plans and monitor achievement against targets.
• Monitor manpower, material, machinery and other resources against project requirements.
• Prepare S-Curve, Progress Curve, Bar Charts and other planning reports.
• Prepare and monitor planned vs. actual progress and productivity reports.
• Analyse delays and support preparation of EOT / delay analysis documentation, wherever required.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for program submission and progress updates.
• Conduct regular review meetings with site/project teams and follow up on pending activities.
• Ensure timely submission of project planning reports to management/client/consultant.
• Maintain proper planning documentation and project records.

Mandatory Requirements

• 8–12 years of relevant experience in Project Planning.
• Strong hands-on experience in Primavera P6 is mandatory.
• Experience in large-scale construction / infrastructure / EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of Baseline, Critical Path, WBS, S-Curve, Resource Planning and Progress Updating.
• Experience in delay analysis, recovery planning and schedule monitoring.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Candidate should be willing to work at Surat, Gujarat – MMIPD Project.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in large infrastructure, building, industrial, railway, road, metro, water or other EPC projects will be preferred.
