Assistant Manager/ Manager- Procurement (R&D Centre)

Location: Navi Mumbai
Experience: 6-12 years
Industry: Chemical, CDMO

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement for the R&D Centre, including chemicals, raw materials, lab consumables, equipment and technical services.
• Identify, evaluate and develop vendors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and contracts with suppliers.
• Work closely with R&D, Analytical, Stores, Finance and other stakeholders to fulfil procurement requirements.
• Develop alternate vendors and ensure uninterrupted supply of critical materials.
• Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, vendor performance and procurement MIS.
• Drive cost optimization and process improvement while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key Requirements

• Strong experience in R&D/laboratory procurement and vendor management.
• Good negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/procurement systems and MS Excel.
