Assistant Manager/Manager - Legal (M&A)

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in transaction lifecycle management including managing external counsels, cross functional interactions and handling post transaction operational issues.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documentation for M&A transactions, projects and commercial transactions.
• Assisting in legal due diligence.
• Drafting and reviewing policy documents and operating procedures.
• Advising on operational and business issues including contracts and commercial laws.
• Maintaining digital data base.
• Updating stakeholders on legal developments, new laws, judicial precedents, regulatory requirements and compliance issues.
• Assisting in knowledge management.

Education

• Graduate/Post Graduate from an accredited law school.

Experience

• Experience in a law firm or in-house legal team of a large group company / MNC.
