Assistant Manager / Manager - 1120 Federal US Corp tax

Job Role

• Perform tax-related tasks involving tax compliance to a variety of clients including corporations (1120 corp)
• Participate in tax compliance and provision assistance engagements, identification and analysis of tax technical issues and interaction with additional service lines, including State tax and International Tax for multinational and domestic entities in a wide variety of industries
• Ability to handle multiple engagements, manage teams, review work prepared and provide guidance and training to associates on engagement work performed
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and be responsible for delivering high quality tax compliance service
• Keep up to date on current tax practices, new technologies and tools used in client service delivery and participate in technology or process development initiatives, including bot development and use of Alteryx and other data enablement tools.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in accounting or MBA finance from reputable universities with excellent academic result, majoring in Accounting, Taxation or Finance. Preferred EA/CPA certification.

Experience: 5-10 years of recent tax compliance experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm.
