JOB DESCRIPTION

APosition Overview

Role Summary/Job Specifications:

.Handle end to end management of consumer litigation cases filed against the Company across the different districts, states and National Consumer commissions.

.Managing Insurance Ombudsman cases

.Preparing Self Contained notes after receiving opinion from the respective internal stakeholders

.Drafting and vetting of Written statements, evidence and other necessary pleadings

.Satisfaction of Ombudsman Awards / filing of Writs before the jurisdictional High Court.

.Co-ordinate with Advocates for filing replies, evidence and appeals within statutory timelines

.Review and analyze Court orders recommend further legal action (appeal / review / settlement or compliance)

.Assess pre-ligation grievances related to claim repudiation, delay, policy servicing issues, etc.

.Recommend settlements or corrective measures that reduce potential litigation

.Handle due diligence of property related matters and IPR issues

.Providing legal Advise to internal stake holders based on facts and supporting documents ensuring timely guidance aligned with legal, regulatory and organizational requirements.

.Provide guidance to internal teams for handling disputed cases, high risk or sensitive claims

.Maintain litigation tracker, case summaries and necessary records.
