Assistant Manager - IPQA

Job Summary

The primary role of Assistant Manager is to assist the IPQA Sr. Manager/Manager in leading and mentoring the IPQA Team to maintain and improve Process / Product Quality, meet customer expectations and achieve organizational goals.

Primary Roles & Responsibilities

1.Leading and coordinating team members on IPQA activities.

2.Assisting the IPQA Manager in achieving quality goals & objectives.

3.Reviewing and understanding Customer requirements.

4.Maintaining and continually improving process / Product Quality.

5.Leading meetings with Customers on Quality topics.

6.Ensuring Quality records are maintained.

7.Driving process audit for continuous improvement.

8.Ensuring adherence to defined processes.

9.Driving corrective actions for customer and internal major defects.

10.Working with cross-functional teams for DPPM (Defective Parts Per Million) and Yield improvements.

11.Involving in preparation & suggestion on documentation like Aspects & Impacts, HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment), Emergency preparedness, etc.

Authority

1.Authorize to take timely decisions to ensure compliance to QMS requirements in the manufacturing process.

2.Authorized to trigger corrective actions in the organization wherever there is non-fulfilment of the process.

Academic Qualification & Job Experience:

B.E. in Electronics & Communication / Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 8-10 Years Experience.

Diploma in Electrical and Electronics / Electronics & Communication with 10-12 Years Experience.

Key Skills and Competencies required to perform the Job:

1.Good communication & interpersonal skills.

2.Must be able to communicate closely with Customers & External Agencies.

4.Team Player with Leadership skills.

5.Good knowledge in various QMS standards.

6.Experience in EMS industry (SMT, THT & box-build manufacturing environment).
