About this role
Job Purpose:
Responsible for managing end-to-end import procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
-
- Manage end-to-end procurement of materials
- Understanding of Price negotiations, pricing, payment terms, lead times, Incoterms, and rate contracts
- Prepare and release purchase orders and tracking mechanism at item level
- Understanding of import documentation such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/Airway Bill, Certificate of Origin, and other regulatory documents.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier performance reports, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborating with cross functional teams Planning and Finance for payment processing and cost reconciliation
Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of international procurement and global sourcing majorly from countries like USA and China
- Excellent communication, negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Keen on taking on new projects and new initiatives
Qualification & Experience:
-
- Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in import procurement, sourcing, or international supply chain management.
