Position: Assistant Manager - Import Export

Responsibilities

• Bachelor s Degree in Commerce, International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Engineering.
• Manage import shipments from global suppliers.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, and customs brokers.
• Ensure timely customs clearance of materials and equipment.
• Manage export documentation and shipment execution.
• Ensure compliance with Customs Act, DGFT regulations, and Foreign Trade Policy.
• Verify HSN/HS codes, duty structures, and exemptions.
• Prepare and review Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bill of Entry, Shipping Bills, Certificates of Origin, AWB, and BL.
• Negotiate freight rates and optimize logistics costs.
• Coordinate with CHA, DGFT authorities, procurement, finance, and sales teams.
• Generate MIS reports and monitor logistics KPIs.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Certification/Diploma in Export-Import Management or Customs Foreign Trade.
• Experience in Electronics Manufacturing, EMS, Industrial Products, or Engineering Industry preferred.
