Assistant Manager - HR

Role & responsibilities

Job Description:

• Manage the complete employee lifecycle: onboarding, orientation, probation tracking, performance reviews, and offboarding/exit procedures.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives, welfare programs, and team-building activities to foster a collaborative culture.
• Oversee end-to-end monthly payroll processing, salary calculations, and leave/attendance management.
• Ensure full compliance with all local statutory regulations (PF, ESI, LWF, Gratuity, TDS, etc.).
• Supervise factory HR operations, ensuring adherence to the Factories Act and applicable labor laws.
• Oversee workplace safety, industrial health standards, shop-floor discipline, and audit readiness.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment across factory, administrative, and management positions.
• Direct daily office administration, facility maintenance, and vendor management.
• Drive the performance management framework, including annual/kpi goal setting, mid-year appraisals, and performance reviews.
