Assistant Manager || HR || Gujarat

Overview - We are looking for an Assistant Manager HR to manage and support key HR functions with a balanced focus on Recruitment & Onboarding and Employee Engagement & Grievance Management. The ideal candidate should have strong people-management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a hands-on approach to HR operations.

Responsibilities -

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned positions, from sourcing to offer rollout and joining.
• Coordinate with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and ensure timely closure of vacancies.
• Source candidates through job portals, referrals, internal databases, and other recruitment channels.
• Screen profiles, conduct initial HR discussions, and coordinate interview schedules.
• Maintain recruitment trackers and provide regular updates on hiring status.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives, activities, and events to strengthen employee connect and workplace culture.
• Plan and execute employee engagement activities in coordination with business teams.
• Act as a point of contact for employees on HR-related queries, concerns, and workplace issues.
• Handle employee grievances professionally, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate escalation where required.
• Conduct regular employee connect sessions and gather feedback to understand employee concerns.
• Identify recurring employee issues and recommend suitable solutions to management.
• Support employee recognition initiatives, including R&R programs, celebrations, and appreciation activities

Education & Experience

• Any MBA / Graduate in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
• 47 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with exposure to both recruitment and employee engagement/HR generalist activities.
• Experience in handling employee grievances and working closely with business/hiring managers will be preferred.
