JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Purpose of Role

Lead Corporate Affairs initiatives for Kerala state and build/maintain relationship with all relevant government stakeholders. Work with external stakeholders to ensure timely receipt of all required permits/permissions to ensure smooth business operations.

Roles & responsibilities

Corporate Affairs BU India

1. Securing all operational Licenses/Permits to operate smoothly in Kerala

2. Build & manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders

3. Track and monitor market/industry intelligence

4. Work on initiatives on Fiscal policies and share feedback with State governments to implement Ease of Doing business policies

5. Responsible to draft applications, letters, and official correspondence with various departments of Kerala State Government

6. End to end ownership to ascertain all statutory compliance approvals from different departments of Government in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders.

7. Good analytical skills to visualize what needs to be done to avoid any last-minute issues.

8. Confident to work with Bureaucrats and senior government officials and capability to convince officials with subject knowledge and logical reasoning

9. Acts as a single point of contact for ABI to any external department(s)

Education level and/ or experience

• Graduate/Postgraduate in any stream
• Preference Law Graduate
• 3+ years of work experience
• Experience of working with Central/State Govt. Authorities/Panchayats etc.
• Alcobev/FMCG industry exposure
