Key Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger (GL) accounting and month-end close activities.
- Handle journals, accruals, prepayments, reclasses, and reconciliations .
- Manage Fixed Asset Register, CAPEX, and CWIP accounting .
- Review invoices and project documents for capitalization .
- Monitor asset additions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation .
- Perform Fixed Asset sub-ledger to GL reconciliations .
- Support GST/VAT, TDS/withholding tax, and corporate tax compliance .
- Prepare tax reconciliations, schedules, and audit documentation .
- Support financial reporting, consolidation, and variance analysis .
- Handle statutory, internal, tax, and SOX audits .
- Identify control gaps and process improvement opportunities .
- Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, Projects, Tax, Legal, Operations, and Auditors.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field .
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in GL, Fixed Assets, CAPEX, Tax, and Financial Reporting.
- CA/CPA or equivalent preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Fixed Assets, CWIP, capitalization, depreciation, and tax reconciliations .
- Experience in Data Center / Infrastructure / Construction / Telecom / Manufacturing / Real Estate preferred.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent ERP .
- Strong Excel skills - Pivot Tables, Lookups, Reconciliations, Roll-forwards, and Variance Analysis.
- Good analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
