About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Finance to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in accounting, taxation, MIS reporting, financial analysis, and foreign subsidiary reporting. The role requires hands-on involvement in financial operations, statutory compliance, month-end closures, and management reporting. Candidates with exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

• Manage end-to-end accounting and finance operations.
• Handle General Ledger (GL) accounting, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), journal entries, provisions, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Execute month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial records and books of accounts.
• Support statutory, internal, and tax audits by providing required documentation and analysis.

GST & TDS Compliance

• Manage GST compliance, reconciliation, and Input Tax Credit (ITC) reviews.
• Handle TDS computation, payments, return filing, and reconciliations.
• Ensure timely compliance with all applicable tax regulations.
• Coordinate responses to tax notices, assessments, and audit queries.

MIS & Management Reporting

• Prepare monthly MIS reports and management dashboards.
• Conduct financial performance analysis, budgeting variance analysis, and trend reporting.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, receivables, and payables.
• Provide actionable insights for management decision-making.

Foreign Subsidiary Reporting

• Coordinate with overseas subsidiaries for periodic financial reporting.
• Review financial statements and reports received from international entities.
• Prepare consolidated MIS and management reports for foreign operations.
• Perform inter-company reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Liaise with overseas finance teams, auditors, and stakeholders.

SAP S/4HANA Finance

• Utilize SAP S/4HANA for accounting and financial reporting activities.
• Generate, review, and analyze financial reports through SAP.
• Support finance process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and SAP-related finance issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4-7 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience in GST and TDS compliance.
• Experience in MIS reporting and financial analysis.
• Expertise in account reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and financial data analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Experience working with organizations having foreign subsidiaries or international operations.
• Exposure to inter-company accounting and consolidated reporting.
• Experience dealing with statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Involvement in finance process improvement and automation projects.
