Assistant Manager - Finance - Bangalore

Role & responsibilities :

• Lead, supervise, and manage a team of Finance Executives.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance activities .
• Allocate daily tasks and responsibilities among team members and monitor completion.
• Review the work performed by Finance Executives to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and training to team members.
• Monitor individual and team performance and provide regular feedback.
• Ensure finance activities are completed within agreed timelines and SLAs.
• Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance team efficiency.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Review financial data and identify discrepancies, unusual transactions, or variances.
• Support preparation of management reports and financial analysis.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow monitoring.
• Provide accurate financial information to management as required.

Preferred candidate profile : 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting, preferably with prior team-leadership experience.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience in managing and reviewing the work of finance/accounting teams.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
