Role Overview: We are looking for a creative and execution-focused personnel to support the day-to-day management of all social media handles and community. The role will focus on driving engagement, conversations, and community-building among a Gen Z audience (18–25 years), while tracking national and global competitors to bring fresh, innovative thinking into the brand’s social presence.
Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities Social & Digital Engagement Leadership (Core): • Own and drive all social media channels as the primary medium to engage with prospective and current learners. • Build platforms into high-engagement, conversation-led ecosystems through content, interactions, and cultural relevance.
Community & Lifecycle Engagement: • Design and scale learner engagement across the lifecycle (prospect → enrolled → alumni). • Build and manage owned communities (WhatsApp, Discord, cohorts) to deepen engagement beyond social.
Engagement-Led Content & Experiences: • Lead development of interactive, engagement-first content and campaigns. • Drive participation through formats like live sessions, AMAs, challenges, and discussions.
Offline & Hybrid Engagement: • Identify and execute offline and hybrid initiatives (events, meetups, campus connects). • Strengthen learner relationships through on-ground engagement.
Growth, Advocacy & Insights: • Drive community-led growth through ambassadors, UGC, and referrals. • Track and optimize engagement quality metrics (participation, retention, repeat engagement).
Skill and Ability Requirements Innovation & Ideation: • Contribute fresh content and format ideas. • Participate in brainstorming for campaigns and topical content. • Experiment with new storytelling and engagement approaches.
Performance Tracking: • Track metrics such as reach, engagement, and follower growth. • Assist in preparing performance summaries and insights.
Collaboration: • Work closely with design, content, and brand teams and also, the creative agency. • Ensure consistency in messaging and timely execution. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and build in-sights from teams like admissions, product.
Qualification & Experience Experience • 5–8 years of experience in social media management or brand community building. • Experience in EdTech, D2C, or consumer internet brands preferred. • Strong understanding and experience of Gen Z audiences. • Good copywriting and creative skills. • Familiarity with social media analytic tools and performance. • Hands-on, can create campaigns, brain storm and drive social tasks.
Qualification • MBA or Masters in communication/marketing.
