Assistant Manager - Design

Key Responsibilities

Design Standards & Guidelines

o Develop a comprehensive Design Standardization Docket covering key technical and design guidelines for uniform implementation across projects

o Develop design and drawing standards to bring consistency across projects.

 SOP Development

o Create and maintain SOPs covering Architecture, Interiors and Landscape processes with a focus on consistency, quality, and efficiency. 

o Periodically review standards based on project learnings and evolving design practices.

 Design Review & Compliance

o Review architectural designs and layouts of ongoing and proposed projects for feasibility, functionality, regulations and defined standards. 

o Provide structured design feedback and recommendations for improved outcomes.

o Review project plans and architectural specifications. 

 Benchmarking & Best Practices

o Benchmark architectural, landscape and interior design consultants as well as emerging design trends, materials and global best practices. 

o Track competitor products, designs, strategies and product-generation approaches. 

o Evaluate opportunities to introduce competitive designs and newer design technologies. 

Project & Site Learning

o Visit OC-ready/completed sites and review differences between approved design concepts and final execution across Architecture, Interiors and Landscape. 

o Document project learnings and recommend corrective actions or improvements for future projects. 

Documentation & Stakeholder Coordination

o Prepare design reports, presentations, guidelines and recommendation documents for senior management and project teams. 

o Coordinate with internal design/project teams and external design consultants for implementation of standardized practices.

o Support internal design teams in adopting standardized design and drawing practices.
