Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager

Responsibilities

• Procurement of intermediates, key starting materials (KSMs), Chemicals & Solvents for USFDA Approved API manufacturing facilities.
• Plan delivery schedules and ensure timely fulfilment of purchase orders.
• Identify and evaluate prospective vendors; negotiate commercial terms and contracts.
• RFQs & P.O. processing
• Ensure the quality of procured materials and facilitate timely resolution of related issues.
• Maintain vendor records and ensure vendor compliance in line with QA guidelines.
• Prepare and maintain inventory reports and inventory provisions for all plants.
• Coordinate with respective HODs and departments for effective inventory monitoring.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required data, reports, and clarifications.
• Maintain and update SAP master data.
• Manage inventory liquidation activities.
• Prepare and maintain procurement-related Budgets & MIS.

Desired Skills

• Experience in procuring intermediates and KSMs in a reputed pharma company.
• Must have SAP knowledge
• Strong vendor relationship management skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to manage diverse projects and functional areas.
• Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
