About the function -

The function plays a pivotal role in ensuring the organization's compliance with taxregulations, mitigating tax risks, and effectively managing tax litigations. It fostersclose collaboration with the accounting, legal, and business teams, as well as withinternal and external auditors. It's core responsibilities encompass addressing routinelitigations, dealing with GST authorities, handling different GST related issues,synchronizing revenue figures with tax filings and ensuring the prompt handling ofmonthly and annual compliances.

About the role -

The role incumbent will be a part of taxation team in the FA function supporting themonthly compliances of indirect tax returns and reporting. Along with the regularmonthly/Quarterly and yearly reconciliations, individual will be working closely withthe accounts team to provide valuable input on tax compliances and applicability oncompany.

What will you be doing -

GST Compliances and Litigation -

Matching GSTR2B with books of accounts and resolving mismatches withintimeline.Preparation of Input credit registers.

Ensure that the Tax invoice is as per the requirement of GST law.

Coordination with accounts team for input related accounting.

Align with tech teams for preparation of various reports and details.

Resolution of GST related queries of auditors and internal stakeholders.Regular follow-up with vendors.

Undertaking necessary reconciliations of return with books of accounts.

Work with other supporting teams for implementation of any new amendment orchanges in system.

Tax and accounting and other related tasks -

Input Accounting.

Assistance in direct tax and other related work

Qualification and Experience -

Commerce graduate with 5-7 experience in Indirect Tax.

Well-versed with knowledge of MS Excel.

Strong acumen with Data accuracy analytical skills.
