Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager-Supply Chain Operations

Location: Nashik, Maharashtra

(Willing to Travel in Maharashtra, Rajasthan & Gujarat, Fooding & Accomodation will be reimbursed as per deployment policy)

**Candidates with experience in Last Mile Operations preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Facility & Operations Management: Manage day-to-day operations of assigned facilities/warehouses, ensuring adherence to SOPs, operational standards, and business requirements.
• Supply Chain Execution: Coordinate with Supply, Procurement, Logistics, Quality, and Sales teams to ensure smooth and timely movement, handling, storage, and dispatch of produce.
• Inventory Management: Ensure inventory accuracy, monitor stock movement, ageing, wastage, and discrepancies, and drive measures to minimize operational losses.
• Manpower Management: Plan and deploy manpower as per operational requirements, monitor productivity and attendance, and address manpower gaps.
• Performance Monitoring: Track key operational KPIs including productivity, throughput, wastage, inventory accuracy, TAT, and cost; prepare regular reports and drive corrective actions.
• Cost & Productivity Optimization: Identify operational inefficiencies, improve resource utilization, and drive cost reduction, productivity, and process standardization initiatives.
• Process Improvement: Identify recurring operational challenges, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement process improvements, automation, and best practices.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with Supply, Demand, Procurement, Logistics, Quality, Finance, HR, vendors, and service partners to resolve operational issues.
• Facility Expansion & Cluster Support: Support new facility setup, relocation, and operationalization; travel across assigned locations to stabilize operations and support cluster-level expansion.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Agriculture, Operations, or a related field.
• 48 years of experience in Last mile supply chain operations, warehouse, operations, logistics, E-commerce, FMCG, food, agriculture, or fresh produce businesses.
• Experience in facility/warehouse operations and inventory management will be preferred.
• Experience managing on-ground operational teams of 100-300 is preferred.
