About this role
Role & responsibilities
- Manage import/export operations for SEZ and DTA units.
- Coordinate with Customs, SEZ authorities, CHA, freight forwarders, and suppliers.
- Ensure timely customs clearance and compliance with SEZ, Customs, DGFT, and FTP regulations.
- Handle bonded warehouse operations, ex-bond clearances, and re-warehousing activities.
- Manage High Sea Sales transactions and related documentation.
- Negotiate freight contracts and optimize logistics costs.
- Monitor freight, clearance, and vendor performance through KPIs and scorecards.
- Support customs audits and regulatory reviews.
- Prepare monthly MIS and quarterly management reports on imports, freight, compliance, and cost savings.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and logistics optimization initiatives.
