Assistant Manager Distribution Center

Location : Kuthambakkam Poonamallee (Chennai)

Role Summary:

Support the DC Manager in running a high-volume, 100,000 sq. ft. warehouse. Oversee daily

operations, lead large teams, ensure inventory accuracy, maintain safety standards, and drive

efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise team leads, supervisors, and 100+ warehouse associates.

• Manage inbound, storage, picking, packing, and outbound functions.

• Maintain KPIs: order accuracy, on-time dispatch, inventory control.

• Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance.

• Use WMS to monitor workflow and resolve operational issues.

• Report performance metrics and suggest process improvements.

Qualification & Education Requirements:

• Any Regular Degree

• 7–13 years in warehouse or distribution management (large facility preferred).

• Leadership skills, WMS proficiency, problem-solving ability.

• Willingness to work flexible shifts
