Assistant Manager - CQA Design & Delivery

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager CQA (Design & Delivery) to support product technology, new product implementation, technology transfer, validation and commercial roll-out across in-house and third-party manufacturing units.

The role requires strong exposure to NPD implementation, validation, scale-up, manufacturing troubleshooting and cross-functional project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities and pre-commercial readiness, including FDA, BOM, PTD, hardware and unit readiness.
• Support implementation and technology transfer of NPD, DTV, extension and CQA line-extension projects across own and third-party manufacturing units.
• Provide product technology training to manufacturing units and participate in validation batches, MPT, DTV, line and transit trials.
• Conduct hardware gap and product/packaging risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
• Prepare validation documents, conduct validation activities, compile reports and ensure timely closure of identified gaps.
• Support batch failure troubleshooting, incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Review CCFs and support deviation/exception assessment and escalation as per defined procedures.
• Coordinate new product roll-outs across subsequent in-house and third-party manufacturing sites.
• Support development and implementation of defect classification standards for NPDs.
• Track project milestones, deliverables and compliance requirements and follow up for timely closure.
• Maintain project, validation and technical documentation as per defined standards.
• Leverage digital tools, data analytics and AI-based solutions for project tracking, troubleshooting and process improvement.

The JD specifically emphasizes product technology and manufacturing knowledge in cosmetics and personal care, along with troubleshooting, analytical, project coordination, documentation, data analysis and digital/AI skills.

Educational Qualification

• Masters in Chemistry / M.Pharm
• B.Tech / M.Tech in Cosmetic Technology

Preferred candidate profile

• 68 years of experience in Product Development, Technology Transfer or Manufacturing within the Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics or FMCG industry.
• Experience in NPD implementation, validation, scale-up or manufacturing troubleshooting is preferred
