Assistant Manager - Commercial

Role & responsibilities :

• Credit Risk Assessment: Evaluate credit applications, check financial records and credit reports, and set appropriate credit limits and payment terms.
• Debt Collection & Chasing: Follow up on overdue invoices via phone, email, and formal notices according to company collection schedules.
• Ledger Management & Cash Allocation: Book incoming payments, reconcile bank and sales ledger accounts, and clear unallocated funds.
• Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing or invoice disputes by liaising with sales, accounts, and customer service teams.
• Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare aging reports, calculate Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and assist with cash flow forecasting.
• Policy Compliance: Enforce credit policies and initiate legal or escalation proceedings for severely delinquent accounts when necessary.
