Assistant Manager - Commercial ( Statutory Compliance)

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with 3-4 years of experience in payroll, commercial costing, and statutory compliance. The candidate will be responsible for preparing cost sheets, salary structures, service quotations, and ensuring compliance with applicable labour laws across PAN India locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Salary Structure & Breakup: Ability to prepare salary structures and salary breakups in accordance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
• Statutory Compliance: Strong knowledge of EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax (PT), Bonus, Gratuity, and Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), including their applicability, eligibility, and calculations.
• State Minimum Wages: Must have Knowledge of state-wise minimum wage rates, applicable government notifications, periodic wage revisions, and Compliance requirements for various employee categories.
• Compliance Monitoring: Monitor adherence to statutory regulations, labour laws, and company policies.
• Budget Preparation: Must be able to prepare manpower budgets, cost sheets, and budget estimates, including salary costs, statutory liabilities, service charges, and overall cost impact.
• MIS & Reporting: Analyse commercial and payroll data, identify discrepancies, and prepare accurate MIS reports and analytical insights to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Must be a Graduate in any discipline.
• 34 years of experience in payroll, commercial costing, statutory compliance, or a similar role.
• Good understanding of state-wise minimum wages and statutory compliance requirements.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, including understanding and using formulas such as SUM, SUMIF, AVERAGE, MIN, MAX, VLOOKUP, and COUNT, along with basic spreadsheet operations.
• Good communication & client coordination skills.
• High attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy in calculations, data validation, and reporting.
