About this role
- Manage civil maintenance, repair and renovation activities across plant and facility areas.
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of civil infrastructure.
- Inspect and maintain buildings, roofs, flooring, RCC structures, roads, drains, foundations and boundary walls.
- Handle masonry, plastering, concreting, waterproofing, painting, flooring and other civil works.
- Manage plumbing, sewage, drainage, rainwater and water supply systems.
- Supervise carpentry and electrical maintenance activities and ensure timely resolution of facility-related issues.
- Coordinate with civil, plumbing, carpentry and electrical contractors, vendors and service agencies.
- Prepare BOQ, cost estimates, material requirements and work schedules for maintenance projects.
- Monitor contractor manpower, material consumption, work progress and quality and verify completed work and bills.
- Plan and execute CAPEX/OPEX maintenance projects within approved budgets and timelines.
- Coordinate with EHS, Production, Projects, Mechanical, Electrical and Administration teams for facility requirements.
- Support plant expansion, modification, layout changes and infrastructure projects.
- Review civil drawings, layouts and structural details and coordinate with consultants.
- Conduct regular inspections and identify structural, maintenance and safety risks.
- Maintain maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports and asset documentation.
- Drive cost optimization, preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure safety standards, housekeeping and proper work practices at all maintenance locations.
