Assistant Manager- Accounts

Responsibilities

• Responsible for collection, compilation and preparation of accounts, reports and documents and their submission
• Monitors effective record keeping
• Responsible for preparation of payable / payroll / receivable / income audit accounts, etc. as per organizational requirements
• Responsible for protection of confidentiality of documents / information
• All the related sections of Accounts departments including Accounts Payable , City Ledger, General Ledger, MIS functions, Direct/Indirect taxes, Payroll and unit treasury
• Assists in finalization of Accounts at year end
• Coordinates prompt collection and timely disbursement of payments
• Assist the Chief Accountant /Financial Controller in the preparation of the annual operational budget and monthly annual final accounts
• Recommends changes in policies, systems and procedures to increase efficiency and improve service
• Responsible for adherence to all statutory and organizational requirements
• Recommends changes in policies, systems and procedures, to improve sectional efficiency of service levels
• To ensure proper control on systems and process
• To ensure continues guidance of operations controls to the other departments other units
