Assistant Manager- 5"S" & Safety

Role & responsibilities

• Drive and sustain 5S implementation across plant areas and achieve Green Zone targets.
• Conduct 5S audits, safety inspections and line walks; identify gaps and ensure timely closure.
• Lead HIRA & risk assessments and implement appropriate risk-control measures.
• Monitor incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions; support RCA and preventive actions.
• Ensure PPE compliance and safety discipline across the shopfloor.
• Audit fire & emergency safety equipment and support emergency preparedness/drills.
• Plan and conduct 5S & Safety training, toolbox talks and awareness programs.
• Drive Kaizen, employee suggestions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain action trackers and ensure corrective actions are closed with effectiveness verification.
• Prepare 5S & Safety MIS, analyze trends and present key risks and improvement status to management.

Preferred candidate profile

• 510 years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
• Strong exposure to 5S, Safety, HIRA, Audits, Incident Management and Continuous Improvement.
• Experience in textile, technical textile, engineering or process industries will be an advantage.
