Assistant Legal Manager

Contract Drafting, Review & Risk Management

• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize various legal and commercial agreements, including:
• Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
• Supplier Agreements
• Performance Bank Guarantees (PBGs)
• Bank Guarantees (BGs)
• Leave & License Agreements
• Project Agreements and other commercial contracts
• Conduct legal and commercial risk reviews of project contracts and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
• Ensure contractual documentation complies with applicable laws and company policies.

Compliance Management

• Administer and manage the Legatrix Compliance Management System.
• Identify, map, monitor, and track legal and regulatory compliances applicable to the organization.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of compliance requirements.
• Maintain compliance records and prepare periodic compliance status reports.

Litigation Management

• Handle and monitor litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters involving the company.
• Coordinate with external law firms, advocates, and legal counsels.
• Prepare case briefs, compile documentation, and ensure timely responses to legal notices and court matters.
• Maintain litigation trackers and provide regular updates to management.

Legal Documentation & Record Management

• Act as the custodian of all important legal documents, agreements, licenses, permits, and regulatory records.
• Maintain a centralized repository and ensure safe custody, retrieval, and retention of legal documents.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper documentation control processes are followed.

Intellectual Property Management

• Handle trademark-related matters for Indian products.
• Coordinate trademark filing, registration, renewal, prosecution, and protection activities with external IP consultants and attorneys.
• Maintain records of all intellectual property assets and monitor renewal timelines.

Legal Advisory & Stakeholder Support

• Provide legal support and advisory services to various business functions.
• Identify legal risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
• Support contract negotiations and commercial discussions with customers, suppliers, and business partners.

Additional Responsibilities

• Undertake any other legal, compliance, governance, or corporate responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.
• Support special projects, due diligence exercises, and business initiatives requiring legal review and guidance.
