Job Summary

We are looking for experienced KYC professionals with strong expertise in KYC Due Diligence, Client Onboarding and Periodic Review/Recertification for an international banking operations environment.

The candidate will be responsible for performing end-to-end KYC reviews for existing and new clients across APAC, EMEA and Americas, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform KYC onboarding and periodic KYC recertification for existing and new clients.
• Prepare and review KYC / Customer Due Diligence (CDD) packages.
• Collect, verify and validate mandatory KYC documents and client information.
• Review customer profile, business activities, ownership and control structures.
• Identify and verify Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) and shareholders.
• Conduct CDD and EDD based on customer risk.
• Perform checks using company websites, third-party databases, stock exchanges and other reliable sources.
• Conduct Sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening and identify potential risks.
• Review local and global sanctions/blacklist results and escalate concerns where required.
• Follow up with business stakeholders for missing documents, clarifications and approvals.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Business, Onshore Due Diligence and other internal teams.
• Ensure KYC records and supporting documents are accurately updated, scanned and archived in relevant systems.
• Ensure client files meet quality, control and audit requirements.
• Identify discrepancies, exceptions and potential AML/KYC risks and escalate appropriately.
• Support approved KYC information handoff to relevant Static Data / Maintenance teams.
• Participate in process improvements, UAT, system changes and new process implementations.
• Contribute to operational risk and Permanent Control activities.

Required Skills

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in KYC / AML / Client Due Diligence / Client Onboarding.
• Strong hands-on experience in KYC Periodic Review / Recertification.
• Strong understanding of CDD, EDD, UBO and corporate KYC.
• Experience in Sanctions, PEP and Adverse Media Screening.
• Good understanding of AML/KYC risk assessment and escalation processes.
• Experience handling corporate/client documentation and ownership structures.
• Ability to work across multiple systems and manage high-volume KYC cases.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office.
• Experience working with international clients or global banking operations is preferred.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Management, Science or a related discipline.
