Assistant / Junior System Administrator

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our IT team as Assistant System Administrator/ Junior System Administrator. This role offers handson exposure to system administration, networking, cloud, and website management perfect for those eager to grow in IT infrastructure and support.

Job Description

• Routine Maintenance & Upgrades: Assist with OS installations, updates, patches, hardware upgrades, and scheduled system reboots.
• User Provisioning & Onboarding: Manage Active Directory accounts, password resets, and employee onboarding/offboarding.
• Helpdesk Support: Act as the first point of contact for IT issues.
• Backup & Log Monitoring: Execute backup procedures, verify integrity, and review error logs.
• Hardware Setup & Inventory: Deploy and maintain workstations, peripherals, cabling, and server room equipment.
• Website Management: Maintain WordPress sites, update plugins/themes, manage GoDaddy cPanel hosting, monitor server resources, and configure PHP/MySQL databases.
• Documentation: Keep IT inventory, system assignment, data sanitization, and training records up to date.

• Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS)
• Networking & Protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Routers, Switches, Firewalls
