Assistant Indirect Taxation Manager

We're looking for someone with strong GST and Indirect Tax knowledge who can work with large corporate clients and help them solve their taxation-related challenges.

What you'll do:

• Work with large corporate clients and senior stakeholders such as CFOs and Heads of Tax to understand and resolve their GST-related queries.
• Handle complex GST, e-invoicing, ITC and ERP-related taxation issues and provide practical solutions.
• Support clients during product implementation and go-live, ensuring their GST/tax requirements are properly addressed.
• Coordinate with Tax, Product, Engineering and other internal teams to resolve client issues and ensure smooth implementation.
• Understand client feedback and work with Product/Technology teams to improve tax-related product features and solutions.
• Build strong relationships with clients while acting as their GST/Indirect Tax subject-matter expert.

In simple words:
This is a GST + Client Management + Tax Technology role. You'll use your Indirect Tax knowledge to work with large companies, speak with senior finance/tax leaders, solve their GST problems, and help them use ClearTax's tax technology effectively.

What We're Looking For

• Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• GST Expertise: Strong practical knowledge of GST, e-invoicing, ITC reconciliation, and Indian tax laws.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax/technical topics in simple language and confidently interact with senior stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical, proactive, and customer-focused, with the ability to understand client problems and find practical solutions.
• Stakeholder Management: Comfortable working with CFOs, Heads of Tax, Finance teams, Product, and Technology teams.
