Assistant Hub Incharge

The Associate Hub Incharge will be responsible for managing day-to-day hub operations, ensuring smooth shipment movement, coordinating with delivery executives, maintaining operational efficiency, and achieving hub performance targets.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage daily hub operations, including shipment receiving, sorting, scanning, dispatch, and reconciliation.
• Ensure timely and accurate inward and outward movement of shipments.
• Monitor first-mile and last-mile operations and ensure timely dispatch of shipments.
• Manage and coordinate with Delivery Executives / Field Executives for daily operations.
• Track delivery performance, attendance, productivity, and route allocation of delivery executives.
• Handle hub manpower planning and ensure adequate staffing for daily operations.
• Monitor key operational metrics such as SLA, productivity, pending shipments, RTO, NDR, and delivery performance.
• Ensure proper shipment scanning, bagging, tagging, and inventory management at the hub.
• Identify operational issues and take corrective action to ensure smooth functioning of the hub.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as Operations, Customer Support, HR, and Transport for issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate MIS reports and daily operational data.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety guidelines, and process standards.
• Handle customer or shipment-related escalations and ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct regular checks to minimize shipment loss, damage, misrouting, and operational discrepancies.
• Support the Hub Incharge/Hub Manager in achieving daily and monthly business targets.
• Train and guide new team members and delivery executives on operational processes.
• Ensure proper 5S, cleanliness, safety, and discipline within the hub.

Key Skills

• Good communication and team-handling skills
• Basic knowledge of last-mile logistics / e-commerce operations
• Strong coordination and problem-solving ability
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets
• Ability to manage multiple operational activities simultaneously
• Good understanding of shipment and delivery processes
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced operational environment

Preferred Experience

• 02 years of experience in logistics, e-commerce, courier, warehouse, or last-mile operations.
• Freshers with good communication and coordination skills can also be considered.
